Schindler's List: A Response

Schindler's List took place in Munich, Germany, in November 1938. Schindler's List took place throughout the Jewish holocaust starting from November 1938 to June 1941 "Schindler's List is the based-on-truth story of Nazi Czech business man Oskar Schindler, who uses Jewish labor to start a factory in occupied Poland. As World War II progresses, and the fate of the Jews becomes more and more clear, Schindler's motivations switch from profit to human sympathy and he is able to save over 1100 Jews from death in the gas chambers." Written by Anthony Hughes

The word power to me means a couple of things 1. tacking advantage and 2. eventualy leads to corruptness. Goethe was a German poet and novelist and dramatist who lived in Weimar (1749-1832). For Schindler it went from Jewish labor to the saving of Jewish people. Schindler's motivations switch from profit to Jewish sympathy. All the Nazi leaders misused their power's by convincing the people that Jews were their problem and they believed them because they were leaders and the leaders such as Adolph Hitler took advantage of that!

Schindler's switched from profiting off of Jewish Labor to trying to save as many Jews as possible. Meaning that he had a change of fealings for the Jews, he thought he could just hire a bunch of them for labor taking advantage of them because they were just being killed to seeing what was really happening and had a change of heart for the jews.

I think this is one of the most effective videos I have ever seen, it changed a lot of things in my mind, Schindler had changed the world and saved over 1100 people and generations to come, and because of him we now reallize the effect the holocaust caused on Jews but also everybody involved and even countries not involved because they did not take the Jews!
